| David French, P. Eng., LL.B. Lawyer, Patent Agent and Trade-mark Agent Counsel David French was educated at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, graduating with the degree B.Sc. in engineering physics, obtained his law degree at the University of Toronto in Toronto, Ontario and was called to the bar of Ontario in 1971. David is experienced in all areas of intellectual property, including patents, trade-marks and copyright. He has extensive experience in the managing and registration of trade-marks in Canada and elsewhere, as well as litigating patent and trade-mark matters before the Federal Court. He has been counsel to the firm for many years. David is a member of the Professional Engineers Society of Ontario, the Licensing Executive Society (Canada and the United States) and the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada. | |||||
